Hey Peter, I think we were reviewing each other's songs at the same time! Liked yours a lot. Re: my song "Automatic Venus," I think you were on target with your comment about the guitar being a little messy in the middle. That section has multiple delays, some of which are reversed, so playing along to those; through that while they're going off is a little like doing a triple back flip with one and a half twist while looking through a kaleidoscope. = bound to be a little messy, but fun.
Thanks for the mostly favorable review of our song YOU CALL IT LOVE. Nice to get a listen from Down Under. I particularly dug the comment about build on the chorus. If we decide to do an further remixes of this tune, we might add some instrumets to beef the chorus. i was going for a Leonard Cohen feel when I wrote the song so we left it pretty sparse as far as effects went.
G'day, Peter. Thank you for your kind review of "Feel the Light". Yes, the hiss comes from the 20th Century, when Tape was King. Now electronic music sounds more like is was made by a computer. I am thinking of changing my style dramatically to LovePop. Even lazier singing, but more poppy groove. Have a real Shiraz for me (we only get CRAP in the USA). - Old Nick
